  1. What diet principle does Fit Foundation base their meals on?
    We do not believe in diets, rather we base our meals on “clean eating” principles. Clean eating is based on eating whole, real foods – fresh veggies, fruit, whole grains, lean meats, nuts, seeds and oils. It does not include packaged or highly processed foods that contain a lot of chemicals. It is eating foods that are as natural as possible. The foods that our bodies are meant to process.
  2. Do you have meals that cater to certain diet?
    Each meal has the macros, (calories, fat, carbohydrates and protein), and ingredients listed so you can pick which meals fit your needs.
  3. What are your store hours?
    Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 12pm-6pm, Saturday 10am-12pm, Sunday we are closed.
  4. Do I have to pre-order my meals or can I just stop in?
    You can do both! You can pre-order your meals on this website to guarantee what meals you would like or you can stop in anytime during store hours. We have a fridge that we stock daily with fresh meals. That way you can pick from what we have available.
  5. Where are the meals prepared?
    Right here, in store, so it’s as fresh as possible!
  6. When do you stock the in-store fridge?
    We cook all day everyday that we are here to keep the fridge as stocked as possible. All our meals are made from scratch. If we have a rush of customers, it may take a little time to stock the fridge back up. Be assured, we cook as fast a we can to offer as much variety as we can!
  7. How can I find out what is stocked in the fridge?
    You can call us anytime if you would you like to know what the fridge has to offer before you stop in. (815) 582-4055.
  8. Why is the fridge low sometimes when I stop in? When is the best time to stop in?
    Because we are constantly cooking, the only reason the fridge would be low is that we had a rush of customers stop in to purchase meals right before you arrived. There is no guarantee of how full the fridge will be at any given moment but feel to call ahead and we can let you know what is available! (815) 582-4055.
  9. Would you hold meals for me if I call ahead?
    Sure! They must be pre-paid for over the phone.
  10. How do I pre-order my meals? When do I pick them up?
    Pre-order your meals right here on the website. No minimum order, no commitment! Order as much or as little meals as you would like. Place an order Monday – Wednesday, pick up your order anytime during store hours Saturday. Place an order Thursday – Sunday, pick up your order anytime during store hours Wednesday.
  11. Why are there only 2 pick-up days?
    It takes a few days to gather orders, shop, prep and cook the meals so they are as fresh as possible when you pick them up.
  12. When can I place my online order?
    The online order system is available 24 hours a day! The only time the full menu is not up is Wednesday night. We take down the weekly menu every Wednesday night at 9pm in order to change the menu. The new menu appears after 9am Thursday morning.
  13. How often do you change the menu?
    Every Thursday morning. We have 100 different dishes that we rotate so there is always a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
  14. How long are the meals fresh? Can I freeze the meals?
    The meals are good 5 days from the day they were prepared. There is a “best by” date on the lid of each meal. The meals can be frozen for a short period of time. Of course, we recommend eating them fresh but freezing them is a great option if you don’t get around to eating your meal by the “best by” date.
  15. Do you offer meal packages? No. Why?
    We feel that ala carte is the best way. That way you can pick any combination and number of meals that bests fits into your lifestyle. No commitments and no minimum order required!
  16. Can I re-use the containers?
    Yes! They are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. They are recyclable too!
  17. Do you offer gift cards?
    Yes, we do! What’s more perfect than the gift of freshly prepared meals???
